  This is a major bombshell story. The corporate media won't make much of this but it is explosive nonetheless. The top enforcement agency in America conspired with a white supremacist terrorist group to spy on activists on the left. It explains everything. Even though the FBI believes the militias are threat to America they are working with them. This also explains why the January 6th insurrection happened so easily and with no arrests : A leader of the far-right group Proud Boys was recruited by the FBI to provide information about left-wing networks months before he was charged for participating in the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, the Los Angeles Times reports. Joseph Biggs was enlisted to give the FBI information about Antifa activists in Florida and elsewhere after an agent contacted him in late July, Biggs' lawyer, J. Daniel Hull, wrote in a court filing obtained by the Times. According to Hull, Bigg and the FBI spoke "often."

We must prevents others like them by making sure that justice is done in the case of Ambler : Two former Texas sheriff's deputies are facing manslaughter charges in the death of a Black man following a car chase where authorities were accompanied by a reality television camera crew. Javier Ambler was followed by Williamson County deputies for over 20 minutes on March 28, 2019, ending in the city of Austin, where Ambler was restrained and tased at least three times, body camera footage previously released by Austin police and seen by NBC News showed. Deputies began chasing Ambler because he failed to dim his headlights for oncoming traffic, according to a police report. 

  Shocking, damning testimony. The cops restraining George Floyd refused to allow a trained medical technician from saving his life : A firefighter testified in court Tuesday that she had been "desperate" to help George Floyd and begged police officers to check his pulse while he struggled to breathe under the weight of Derek Chauvin's knee, but they didn't allow her. Genevieve Hansen, a 27-year-old Minneapolis firefighter, broke down while testifying as a witness for the prosecution on the second day of Chauvin's murder trial. Hansen was called as a witness after three teenagers and a 9-year-old girl, who were among the other onlookers that day, recalled traumatic details about witnessing Floyd's arrest and the helplessness they felt in being unable to help him as he died.   More of this needs to be done. Slave labor is still rampant worldwide:  The US Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) has ordered port officials to seize all disposable gloves made by the world's largest producer over allegations of forced labor. In a statement Monday, the agency said a months-long investigation had found "sufficient information" that Top Glove, a Malaysian company, was using forced labor to produce disposable gloves. The agency "will not tolerate foreign companies' exploitation of vulnerable workers to sell cheap, unethically-made goods to American consumers," Troy Miller, a senior CBP official, said in a statement. A document published on the US government's Federal Register said the agency had found evidence that certain disposable gloves have been "produced, or manufactured in Malaysia by Top Glove Corporation Bhd with the use of convict, forced or indentured labor." We have to take it upon ourselves to act because the politicians won't act to defend our rights: Pressure is building for high-profile companies in Georgia to express firmer opposition to a sweeping new law that will restrict voter access and make it more difficult to vote there. Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines bore the brunt of boycott threats on social media over the weekend after it released a statement praising some aspects of the law and noting that it “improved considerably during the legislative process.” Similarly, Coca-Cola is facing boycott threats after it released a statement “expressing our concerns and advocating for positive change in voting legislation” but fell short of taking a stance against the law. And it ain't  even in the South : A Black man is taking legal action against the Chicago Police Department after being stopped by police over 60 times within a 15-year time span in a recurring account of mistaken identity. Darren Cole, 50, filed a lawsuit against the City of Chicago Thursday over claims it failed to correct a database issue that has plagued his life since 2006, The Chicago Tribune reports. According to Cole, he apparently shares the same name and birthdate as a man who has an open warrant for his arrest for driving with a suspended license. However, after informing police about the case of mistaken identity, Cole says anytime he has driven a vehicle for the last 15 years, he’s at risk of being stopped and detained by police. Despite his innocence in the matter, Cole says during some of the police encounters, cops have subjected him to verbal and physical assaults and have even pointed their guns at him.   The right is fighting a losing battle. No turning back : The Nebraska Supreme Court has overturned a lower court judge’s decision to deny a lesbian couple the right to adopt a three-year-old child that they have been raising together. The judge had said that same-sex couples adopting kids in the state is “imagination station” because, he argued, a wife has to have a husband. “I think there will always be challenges,” said ACLU of Nebraska attorney Sara Rips, who represented the mothers. “I think we have a lot of fight left to go.” The case involves two women who got married in California in 2008. The sister of one of the women had a child in 2017 and relinquished her rights to the child. The child’s biological father did not seek custody. The kid is now three and the mothers want to adopt them legally, as a couple. But Dixon County Judge Douglas Luebe – who called himself “old-fashioned” during a hearing – refused to allow them to adopt.

Insane . You would think things would change for the better since Columbine. The opposite has happened: One in five Colorado high school students say it is "sort of easy" or "very easy" to access a handgun, a study found. New research, published Monday in The Journal of Pediatrics, analyzed 2019 data collected in Colorado as part of the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey -- an anonymous survey of more than 46,500 high school students in the state. As part of a larger survey, the students were asked "If you wanted to get a handgun, how easy would it be for you to get one?"

  Now why wasn't Trump and his 'lawyers' penalized for their bogus lawsuits claiming voter fraud ? A Minnesota attorney has been fined $10,000 for signing Republican voters onto lawsuits against the state's Democratic officials, among them Representative Ilhan Omar, without their knowledge or permission. Attorney Susan Shogren Smith was sanctioned by a Minnesota court on Friday after she "bamboozled" voters into being named as plaintiffs in five complaints aimed at overturning the results of the 2020 election, Pioneer Press reported. "Susan Shogren Smith ... perpetrated a fraud against this court and, more importantly, perpetrated a fraud against these plaintiffs," Ramsey County Chief District Judge Leonardo Castro said Friday.

I think the Russian government already knows quite a bit about the secrets of the U.S. government just by having Trump working for them. But this breach just shows how powerful they really are and how weak we are when it comes to cyberterrorism : Suspected Russian hackers gained access to email accounts belonging to the Trump administration’s head of the Department of Homeland Security and members of the department’s cybersecurity staff whose jobs included hunting threats from foreign countries, The Associated Press has learned. The intelligence value of the hacking of then-acting Secretary Chad Wolf and his staff is not publicly known, but the symbolism is stark. Their accounts were accessed as part of what’s known as the SolarWinds intrusion and it throws into question how the U.S. government can protect individuals, companies and institutions across the country if it can’t protect itself.

Is it too late to start a new career ?  Lacking other platforms to air his grievances—Facebook, Twitter—and audiences to hear them—the White House press corps, the unwitting American public—Trump has taken his routine to the wedding circuit. On Saturday night, Trump reportedly commandeered the mic at a couple’s Mar-a-Lago wedding to give a typical, rambling rally-like speech that naturally had nothing to do with the newly weds (at least as far as I can tell from TMZ’s footage).  

Let's boycott Georgia businesses. At least until they change their voter suppression laws : Georgia lawmakers’ restrictive and oppressive new voter laws may cost the team and city the privilege of hosting Major League Baseball’s summer showcase. It may also cost the local economy more than $200 million. Major League Baseball’s Players’ Association plans to meet with its 750-plus members to decide whether to force the game to another location.
